If a law student doesn't know the material before finals, there are not enough hours in the day to make up for it.

thanks! glad you liked them. I think I've said all I can say in this format. Maybe you might like my novel (sort of a dark comic legal thriller)?

I loved this series, so much of it rings true of my time at law school. Please make more episodes for this series!

So nice to see someone taking lawyers less seriously. Why do they have to have such an attitude anyway?

The other day I mentioned to someone that I had one more year left of my undergrad, am getting a BA in social studies education and wanted to teach, and he told me to go to law school to get some "life experience," and that I could teach later... what? My brother is in law school so I know how ridiculous that statement is. I'm graduating college with 29,000 dollars in debt as is, why would I spend 3 years adding to that & not even practicing law.

Sweet Mary, Mother of God! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ That is flippin' hilarious. Well done, dwkazzie! I joined the CA bar in 1992, but this brings back the endless ocean of negative emotions quite effortlessly. Beware, all of you who look on law school as a chance to reboot your life - the law schools are selling prestige for $200K in nondischargeable debt. Thank GOD I didn't borrow it all.

"Why is there a setting higher than '2' on any toaster ever built" should be copyrighted. You probably can't do that, though. I wouldn't know - haven't taken copyright law yet. I had 150 pages of reading tonight and the spring semester doesn't start for us until Tuesday... Another beer? DON'T MIND IF I DO!

This is so perfect. I'm not a law student, but I think anyone who has finals right now, like myself, can appreciate this. "I find spite to be an excellent motivator." More true than I should admit.

Love it. Eagerly awaiting season two. I am an attorney, and I promise you, it only gets worse. Start evaluating your non-legal career options early!

oh, I still have the blue ball. I've been playing a lot of wall ball lately. 3rd semester finals are now.
  19. elenchus, at 12/13/2010 10:57, says:
I received a blue "stress ball" from the undergraduate part of my university during my first finals run. I remember fantasizing about just playing wall ball for hours after finals. It turns out that at least here, the grades are entirely random, so it didn't really matter what classes I knew the answers in. I can get perfect scores in class 1 and get a B, and know nothing in class 2 and get an A. Ahhh law school.

"Take a Flex exam on the first day of finals. It scares the professors and rattles the other 1Ls and skews the curve in your favor. It says you don't negotiate with terrorists." HAHA
  21. SunSunSuperFun, at 12/13/2010 07:53, says:
Same thing as a "take home exam." You can pick them up from the school's registrar and you either have a fixed amount of time (e.g. 24 hrs from checkout) or until the end of examinations to complete the exam.

I love this... God I hate law school... This is spot on... I am going to sit around the house and just facebook people "God I'm so booorrreeed!! I love it!!" all winter break....
