    Thing is...they do more harm than good. It is a cheap way of making people spend momney on these masks eventhough they don't work in the slightest, maybe for an hour or so, but any longer and you'll make yourself more sick as the air filters get clogged. So you make yourself even more miserable by wearing these masks. Maybe disrespectfull was not the right word, point is they don't help yourself nor protect others from also getting infected. Sick= stay home.

    Nope, it is common practice in Japan to wear those masks when you have a cold, as to not infect other people, or there is a virus on the loose.. Personally i find it odd as they hardly help. Those masks get polluted after some time, and the ones being sold at convenience stores are not high grade like in a hospital. Personally i find them to be disrespectfull wearing them in public.
