I was being sarcastic. Ten thousand dollars is nothing for such an organization. Half an hour of flight time is more than enough. GPS is globally available to everyone, and so are cell phones. Selective availability won't help in this case, because they wouldn't know when to do it until it's too late.

You do realise that ten thousand dollars for a goverment is less than small change, right?

That's right. They would have to spend over ten thousand dollars to make their own swarm, and they still wouldn't have more than half an hour of flight time. Also, without GPS, navigation is quite hard to do unless an operator or a couple of radio stations (cell phone transceivers for instance) are nearby. The USA can just use selective availability of GPS to turn it off.

not designed for attacig defensive targets as an air "Defence Grid", but as the video specifies, they are for anti tactics (tactical) which is offensive operations, listen to what is being said on what it is for, like any weapons system, there is no master all purpose use weapon.

stealing them, buying them, does nothing without aall the mirade of sattalite comm, codings, and control progrms, grids, codes etc. useless without the network of operations hard and soft ware. they could never make a system for them for any ammount of money or time, and stealing networks seem practicle in hollywood, it is total impossible. so no fundies or sects could ever use them in any numbers.

I dont like it. It should be able to be dropped like a conventional munition and deploy it's self without a retardant.

Or if they get control of aircraft... Or fuel trucks... or explosives! Imagine! You can turn everything into a weapon.

now - just imagine when a fundamentalist organisation like a sect or religious groups gets control of 50 of these and decide to release them on large cities killing thousands of civilians.

cool, now do they work if the enemy has something bigger than missile launchers, you know, an airforce or an air-defense grid?
