i hope James Cameron redesign a full new line of 3D camera with variable inter-axial distance between the lens become a reality , today 3d camera with no moving distance between the lens (horizontally) depending of the distance of the first subject in front and the camera, are absolutely bad concept and out ghosted 3d without good convergence, for that reason we need fix that problem in post. production (another time loosing)

Polarized 3D glasses have been the standard for 3D feature films since 1951, they should focus on what is actually different about this system.

@WeAreChuckNorris You don't. In fact, we can't actually truly see 3d with two eyes, either. We are seeing two 2d images which our brain overlays, and gives us the ILLUSION of depth. Only 4 dimensional entities can actually see 3d. If we could see in 3d, we could see every face of every object in our universe (including the organs inside our bodies), which would be sitting on the w axis. Next time, do your research before absentmindedly making an incorrect comment.

you don't see real 3D with one eye.

yes. I think it would be harder for those people to drive because they can't actually tell how far away a car is

@WeAreChuckNorris you don't see real 3D with one eye. Being able to see in 3D is haveing depth perception ( being able tell somthing is either far behind an object rather then it actually being just right behind it) here. Try catching a baseball thrown at you with one eye closed. It will be really hard because your brain can't tell how far away it actually is

SO, WHY I CAN SEE IN 3D WHEN I CLOSE ONE EYE?

I miss the old youtube.. when the comments had nothing to do with the dislike bar.. When the girly voiced pop singer (not even going to say his name) wasnt used to compare bands when youtube didnt have advertisements.. when I could watch videos without wanting to strangle someone because of irritating comments No I dont wanna like your damn comment.. No I dont care who you like.. Dear youtube its sad how youve changed..

Too bad James Cameron doesn't know that much about 3D. If you watch the 3D Blu-ray, you will notice that the background is always focused very close to the screen. This results in perfect 3D characters playing in front of a flat, ridiculously small world behind them. I loved the part where the bad guy looks up and says "that's one big damn tree" and then they show you a three dimensional tree that has a literal size of about 4 feet tall. The foreground is proper, the background is fucked.

you're retarded. James cameron didn't create this type of 3D, it's been around since the 90's.

When Chicken Little is finally released on 3D Blu-Ray, you can use your tv's LCD shutter glasses.

I'm confused O.o I don't understand why this guy made such a big deal about this 3D camera? Believe it or not, the use of polarized glasses for 3D movies was the first way 3D images were even created and that was decades ago. only reason why some filmmakers use red and blue glasses is because its cheeper and easier because red and blue glasses just require a stereoscopic camera, not one with lenses that move left and right.

they are going to use it for Granturismo 5.
