As of now nothing has been officially released in terms of soft openings or previews. Only the official opening date of 6/15/12 has been as far as I know.

I heard a rumor that the cars will reach a top speed of 40mph, which is kind of disappointing because a lot of people expect a top speed of 65mph (similar to Test Track). But it is understandable because this attraction is supposed to be directed for family visitors. So I guess... less intense version of Test Track?

Thank you! Yeah they look slow from that height and distance but they really could be speeding. Perfect example watch how 'slow' an airplane is going in the air ;). Wow less than @ months now! Crazy!

It is really hard to tell from this distance and angle the speed. This video and still images are taken with a long lens from the Fun Wheel. So not sure how fast or slow the cars are traveling now. My hunch is it may go faster.
