    i have a ipod 4th gen black and i dropped it almost 2 months ago i had bought a screen protector just incase that happened and put it on it so when it dropped nothing no racks just a small scratch but now home screen or the screen at all wont light up its pitch black i think the flashbulb or whatever its called is broken any ideas?

    I would suggest that anyone trying to replace the screen for the first time should try connecting the old lcd wire first so that the can figure out how much force and which placement to use. It will also help avoid bending the new lcd wire. Thumbs up this to help all the newbies.
