Sorry for the quality and shaky recording. Just wanted to share this thought after the sony presser.

Today Sony announced a new 24 inch 3d tv at $499. They also said that people can play split-screen games full screen. The crowd applauded.

I love Sony and their products. Heck I have a 40'' active 3d bravia downstairs next to my stack of ps3 games, but this is already available and you don't need $200 glasses.

I picked up My passive 3d Vizio at costco for $700.

Any questions?

I'm not sure why people think I'm bashing Sony. I think they're great and thanks to them, in the future I wont have to play on half-assed resolution because of them.

This can be done on LG 3d TV's as well, they actually sell "dual gamer" glasses specifically for this. Any passive 3d TV should be able to do it, although LG and Vizio are the only major brands doing passive at the moment. (It's better, imo and loads cheaper)
