    I'd like to opinionate that karma does exist on a relative molecular state, whereas people who generally do bad things end up aggravating more people. The more people who are discomforted by a single face, the higher chance that they will end up getting in trouble. Those who are kind hearted(charity givers, religious beings, etc) don't normally upset people unless they are forcive or otherwise, which wouldn't classify as 'good'. Harmless vs. harmful is the idea I was attempting to project.

    You know, being too empirical and logical can be a bad thing. Knowledge is the way to fight harmful myths and superstition. If it's not harmful I don't think it matters if people want to think a certain way if it makes them feel better.

    It's really hard to tell if rationality is gaining or losing in the world at the moment - on one hand you have census statistics that show "no faith" is increasing as peoples stated religion in many countries, on the other hand you have the unchecked growth of radical Islam in the East and Europe, the fundamentalist fight back in the West, and vague spiritualism on the rise everywhere else. Sometimes I think humanity is doomed by its unwillingness to let go of superstition and grow the fuck up.

    I won't be waiting for anything, I'll be living as best I can until I cease existing, then there will be no more "me" - and you know, I'm quite happy with that - it beats an eternity of anything - I mean think about it - the human mind is not equipped to deal with eternity - no matter how "blissful" it is, it would end up being hell after maybe a thousand years or so - after a hundred thousand years how would it be? a million? a billion? a septillion? And that's just the start...

    I guess you'll just have to wait until you die, and that is a shame. Well, have a nice existence until then, it will come in due time.

    JonBenait06 is probably a perfectly intelligent person who has just been brought up believing in fairy stories, and therefore filters the whole world through that distorted perception and comes up with "God dun it" every time. If you're not naturally inquisitive/suspicious personality, and you are mired in bullshit from a young age from everyone you look up to, you'll probably end up believing the bullshit. Maybe if he read some Hitchens it might set him on the right track though. Always hope

    Again, that is just you imposing your world view on something that you most definitely do not understand. Why do I say you don't understand it even though I don't know you at all? Because the standard model is incomplete - we know for a fact that there are huge gaps in our knowledge - the truth is we just don't know all the truth, and nothing we know points at any kind of creator - also the odds of something existing which exists are 1/1, not 1/infinity, or even 1/{insert very large number}

    I guess we'll have to wait until just past the end. Fortunately, some of us DO understand enough of the makeup of matter (even without my own personal particle accelerator) to realize that the odds of everything being just-so , all the laws, all the percentages, all the interaction, the forces, strong and weak, without being formed intelligently, is zero, or, one in infinity.
