Today's tip: READ THE DEFENSE! We believe that there are several simple rules to live by when you've caught the ball on the perimeter and the defense is giving you pressure. If they're up on you tight, you should immediately put the ball on the floor and go by them for the shot or layin. If they play off of you, then they've given you the space to pull up and get a shot off over them. We'll explore the third option in another video, but in the mean time remember: If they CROWD, you GO! If they play OFF, SHOOT!!

Also, Coach Tom talks a bit about being a well-rounded offensive threat. You want to work hard to be both a shooter and a slasher because it makes guarding you near impossible. You'll have an answer for every one of their looks!

See you next week!!

Work on your "Attacking Skills" in practice and then take it to the court. Be willing to fail a few times until you get it down. It's really all about PRACTICE!!!!
