- So by not having The Engineer speak it makes it seem as if David's 'good luck on your journey' as Weyland dies, was of a sarcarstic tone.
- He made another mistake by cutting out the part where The Engineer speaks before ripping David's head off. By omitting that scene, it appears as if David tells a one sided story to the Engineer. Ridley might have chosen to cut it out intentionally as it reflects a comment in the film about children wanting their parents dead. In effect David frees himself from his servitude to Weyland plus as Weyland dies, Guy Pearce says "There's nothing", then David says "I know, good luck Mr.Weyland

- Perhaps, not scary, but something else. A few gripes, here's one: to have Fifeld retain his human characteristics after ingesting the puddle of black ooze in the ampules room, was a mistake, it's as though he the Ridley Scott was afraid that the audience/viewer would not make the connection if he were transferred fully into a xenomorph being. A misjudgment was made here in this instance.
