    If this was in Delilah's perspective then this song wouldn't make sense at all as the story of Samson is completely different to this song and Regina being a devout Jew would know this. Delilah was effectively a con artist who was payed to find out where Samson's strength came from. I doubt very much Samson would have told Delilah that she'd 'done alright' after she tricked him into telling her where his strength came from, Delilah didn't even cut his hair in the first place.

    i'm sorry for interrupting but for me i think this is really about the bible. if not, the phrase "i loved you first" would not even make any sense that ment delilah loved samsom first before she turned her back on samsom. and also the part beneath the sheets of paper lies my truth, beacause for me that meant beneath the sheets of the bible there lies the true story of their love for one another. and the part the bible didn't mention us meant that the bible didn't mention the true story of love.
