To make it clear, on this record the lead vocals are sung by George. Backing vocals are provided by Paul and George. Eric Clapton never sung on a Beatles record, but he played lead guitar on While My Guitar Gently Weeps because the other Beatles didn't take it as seriously as George wanted.
