With so many 3d capable sets there will be 3d movies authored and sold for a while yet. The thing is that the 3d release costs more money than the 2d release and has a smaller audience. This is why publishers have not put out a lot of 3d discs. So in a decade 2d discs will still sell the most, although there will be 3d releases too. Think of it like CD vs SACD.
