I KNOW THE LYRICS ARE NOT 100% RIGHT. I'm sure her voice must be clear but I only have 70% of hearing in one ear and 65% in the other. I didn't have internet access during the time of making this video so I couldn't google the lyrics either.

    its about cancer people. She's comparing him to samson because of his strong and pure soul. unlike samson though, the bible and history books wont recognize this one souls strength. the mention of wonderbread is going bck to how wonderbread supports finding a cure for cancer. and his loss of hair (his hair being cut) is a result of the chemo therepy, referring to how he's slowly giving up, loosing his streangth but that the two still love eachother.

    I think she actually is talking about cancer, because the Bible does mention Samson and Delilah at least once, and she had a friend that she loved for a while but then her friend loved her after she did, and then her friend (who she's singing about) got cancer. Samson (her friend) went into her bed (her world, her love, her destiny etc.) but then he had to go back to his own destiny/fate and they couldnt bring the columns down (they couldnt defeat the cancer) and he ended up dying.

When she's talking about the history books and the bible not mentioning them she's pretty much saying it's not fair how there own story wasn't heard but the story in the bible is more important.
