So does anybody know whatever happened to Bolaji Badejo? It seems that after Alien, he disappeared. I'd love to hear what filming was like from his point of view.

"Can you do it live? For real? Let's try that first" - Simple words that should be spoken more often in film making. Fuck CGI

Wait... the sets were really that big??? No matt paintings like the did with Star Wars? HOLY FUCK!!! Respect to the set design!

They weren't supposed to because it was a different type of movie. If these super nerds would take off their nostalgia goggles they could see it for what it is. Its a genius movie that Ridley Scott made IMO and people need to see it instead of comparing it to Alien, stop doing it.

I know ppl will say the ship and aliens came from the same creators maybe but I do not think they would of had the story go the way it has if this ship was not so tied to the aliens in design. Think about your ideas when all you knew was the 1st 2nd and maybe 3rd alien films you prob. thought like me and most ppl I know that the being on the ship fell victim to the aliens in a happen stance encounter just like Ripley and others. If I remember right in some official back-story that is"was" true

the biggest mistake IMO was having Giger design the ship too, they should of separated the derelict from the rest of the movie design.I say this not b/c its not good but IMO it would of made future projects better b/c they would not have to tie plot elements to design of that ship. They should of at least told him the ship is not the aliens, maybe they didn't even think to ask that themselves at this time tho. I always thought the ship looked to much like the aliens for it not to be somehow thiers

well you could say within the space horror genre alien and the thing both share a spot. One is artistically better to me, the other is the most disturbing:P

Prometheus was a major let down for me... I just don't feel they were able to capture the feeling of the first movie, which I too think would be the role model.

for me the freakiest part about aliens wasnt clastrophobia, the item or sexuality or anything like that, it was the feeling of.. "You've voluntarily taken the elevator so far into hell there's no chance you'll make it back up" does anyone know what im talking about

Somehow I find it really hard to imagine Giger quietly living in a pub, enjoying the Yorkshire puddings.

then you must have lost alot of money every time he got grabbed. And even in the continuations He still likes to play with his victims before killing them. The Alien would be no different. So the notion that he would toast them first is laughable cuz you clearly haven't watched every Nightmare film.

It's the freaking dream world. Freddy can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants to, including setting them all on fire at the same time without even touching them. I don't care if the whole entire hive is asleep all at once. It's Freddy's game, his rules. They're toast; my money's on Freddy.
