Imagineers are busy putting the final touches on Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure park. This busy California street will take you back to 1923, when Walt Disney first arrived in California. Part of the décor includes colorful murals made of tiles that create a story, while also reflecting the architecture and the Spanish influence in California during the 1920s. Lots of fun! A jazz combo called the Five and Dime (the Dime being a torch singer) that comes out and plays in the street on a jalopy, a newsboy musical show that happens on the trolley, and interactive characters from the period specifically for the street, like they do on Main St USA in Florida. And if what they are playing in the temporary entrance corridor is any hint, the music on Buena Vista Street is going to be vivacious and fun! I'm kinda dying with excitement, can you tell?

:D So elegant and tasteful! It means a lot to me to see an artful representation of Los Angeles' Hispanic legacy in the world's premier theme park resort.

You know, I recognized the song from the Disney Store. That is the same song they play during Woody's Quick Draw. It's part of the small events they do, at least in the imagination park style stores.
