That was very difficult and impressive, as you could probably tell. notice how much life daigo has when chun-li starts the hyper combo, even if daigo (ken) would have blocked the move it still would have killed him, parrying was the only way to survive, not only is parrying hard to do because of timing, but to come off of the acrobatic parry with 2 kicks into a hyper combo.

It's released only around 3 years earlier than BF1942. Both games are old and yet have dedicated followings who explore the intricate mechanics of the games and play them competitively. Similar myopic, stereotypical statements can be made of your favourite genre of games, namely FPSes, but let's not stoop down to that level.

It looks like a 20 year old game you play at an arcade. The people who like this sort of gaming, are they they same people who like anime cartoons? If so, I understand...

I was never a fan of 1-on-1 fighting games. They always seemed very flat, messy, and too simple a concept taken way too far. But after seeing this, heh, maybe I was wrong. Fighting games certainly aren't my cup of tea, but my god, that is just amazing.

what is so good, is that special attacks do chip damage even when blocked. To avoid damage you need to either avoid the attack entirely, or parry. But to parry, you need to press towards the attack (opposite of block) within 4 animation frames of the attack (and the game ran at 30 fps) connecting. 11 times in a row, followed by a jump-block into kick-punch-ultra combo (the last bit is QCF QCF KKK all done within the hit recovery window to ensure it connects).

If you just simply block in the game you take damage. You have to time the parry correctly in order to take zero damage which is what he did each strike for her combo.

What's so good about this? It doesn't look like Justin won anyway. Daigo still won even though Justin made a good comeback.
