What's it like to make a game for a phone (timelapse)

2 seconds = 1 minute. The whole video covers about 5 hours of development time. It took much longer to write this game, so only highlights are included. There was a lot more coding time - but it looks similar - and debugging is not included at all, since it's unexciting to watch even in timelapse.

First I did the graphics and screen layout. Then wrote the code. Then tested and debugged it. And finally made the sound effects.

The game is called "Awesome Blocks", and it's for the Samsung bada platform.

The software you can see is The GIMP (install latest Wacom driver for pressure sensitivity), Inkscape, Audacity and the bada IDE based on Eclipse. The hardware is X60.
