Optoma HD33 projector with COD - black ops and avatar.

Hadn't seen any actual videos of this in action with a game etc. was between this projector and the epson 3010.

*** forgot to mention height adjustment full range is approx 10" and your Xbox is louder than the projector fan***

3d is so good I was literally leaning out grabbing the screen. Anyone having doubts hope this will help. Any questions fire away.

El HD33... puede hacer lo mismo con el xbox?.... o sea que no se vea retraso... eso seria muy malo para jugar videojuegos... es inservible entonces para xbox 1080 pix

I want this HD33 ... But big question is ... Zero lag? ... Possible?, a projector with high resolution 3d .. but delayed for gaming is death for me ..The budget could invest is 2000 dollars ... that costs in Mexico ... I can pay the ... unless you tell me it's not worth ...

the GT750E is still a solid projector I'm a big fan of that projector. a 3d full 1080p projector with zero latency would be looking into silly money. did you have a budget in mind?

@twiix8light. The projector new is around £1,100 used maybe around £800. Sound systems start for around £250-£300.

@potpotsie the lag is very much there I agree I got the least amount of lag with all extra picture perks set to off. E.g. Colour engine, normal mode (without pure engine) Only other advice I can give is make sure your using a 1.4 hdmi to the older 1.3. Not into the hype of a £150 monster cable but definitely not the £10 Argos ones either. Hope this helps. Anything else, just ask.

I have a question. I own this exact model and was wondering if you notice the input lag? If not, go play on a normal HD TV and see if you can tell a difference (You will, no doubt). If you have noticed this, do you know of any solutions? Thanks!!

I have this same projector and black levels are great, for the price. Dark Knight is near as good as it was on my Panny Plasma but of course not the same darkness.

@snake172 compression methods etc. ( sorry I hate return before I was finished).

@snake172 the black levels are pretty good actually. A lot better than I was expecting. This was the projector before I got it calibrated but also picture quality is degraded with use of an iPhone camera then youtubes

@Jesus corona everyone who sees it in person is surprised how clear it is. Only thing I would say about a tv being better is how brighter they are and without the bat cave. It's plenty bright though as you can see. I will never go back to tv. If that helps.

@charzy1 I replied to your comment earlier but hasn't shown up. I got my screen yes and now have blackout blinds. I was considering putting screen over blinds before but shape of my room wouldn't allow my huge corner sofa in opposite part of room.

@pottermorefan hey I see my previous reply to your comment hasn't shown up. Not sure what happened, no problem if you haven't already solved your issues send me your dimensions with questions on sound etc and I will help you out.

@myspacewill thanks for the comments and glad you liked the video. It is adjustable dependant on how far you are from the projecting wall. Not a lot of zoom adjustment is available though. If your unsure of the screen size for your size of room if you sent me the dimensions I can double check for you if that helps?
  24. myspacewill, at 07/30/2012 18:35, says:
Sorry didn't read the previous comments. I take it that screen age size 135" in your case depends on distance from the wall. At least I gave you another like. Thanks for posting!
