Ur video is very informative, "it takes 2 eyes to get a 3dimensional view?" lol ;-) I have a question, could one just film with 1 camera and then use a 2D to 3D Side By Side converter? then you'd have a split screen, and normally a tv should be able to join them together as 3D by simply pressing the 3D button. would that be possible? Or would the quality be bad? This is just a theoretical question, maybe u have the answer?

Excellent, good work, really helpful to understand 3D.

The thing to note is that this camera setup does not operate the way human eyes do. If someone wishes to experience 3D on a video similar to the way they experience life in 3D certain factors must resemble each other. We move our eyes together or apart depending on where the thing we want to look at is located. If the desired focal point is moving in space so must the triangle between focal point - left eye angle - right eye angle change it's geometry to accommodate this.

where did you get the '3d mirror glasses'? could you give me a link or name to direct me to where to buy them? are they expensive? i cant imagine they would be..

Shouldn't the ocular distance equal our eyes (~2.5") to look real and remain comfortable? I also try to set the parallax up as close to the subjects distance then fine tune each shot back in the studio. So many videos are painful to watch because the parallax rules have not been adhered to. Nice to see your 3D efforts, thanks for the video.
