How to install an early build of Google Android 4.0 on the Amazon Kindle Fire. Audio and video don't work all that well yet, but WiFi is supported and the Android Market works, so you can download and install games, surf the web, and perform many other basic functions.

You can pick up a Kindle Fire from Amazon for $199: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0051VVOB2/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=bradlindsdigi-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B0051VVOB2

It would be nice to see Jelly Bean working on this device to see if it would still remain a fluid OS.

Hm, I don't know but maybe try your amazon cloud. With the exception of apps, everything pretty much stays in my amazon account in the cloud, regardless if it's on the device or not.
