You should show some respect don't you think. If the man was owed money for his work and Taylor did write while he was with them then he has all the right's in the world to be paid. And Keith was not even there when Moonlight Mile was made just Jagger and Taylor and that is Taylor on the piano also. Learn your facts and watch your mouth.

He never did that with them live at all...

I totally agree with you, not that I am saying they were bad but my era was more into Sticky Finger's, Exile On Main St. and so on .

What are you talking about Mick Taylor has nothing to do with the Stones. If he didn't why is he still playing with them on there biggest tour ever, and the crowd is going crazy every time this man get's finished playing. You read your comment out of a book that Keith was talking about, but you skipped the one saying how good Keith think's he is. I am a sessions player so I do not judge anyones playing we are all different, Mick Taylor is the best player they had.

As I stated before everything got settled Mick is getting his money owed by Jagger & Richards. And Taylor is getting more of a fan - base now I never seen anything like it how crazy the crowd goes for him and I am so happy for the man he deserves it and they are all having a great time together. Rock On Stones !!!!

Brussels Affair is the best ever sounding bootleg, but this is good also.

I understand where your coming from, but they let him do the tour as a guest so they could pay him back what was owed to him. I seen them first in Brooklyn, then the two night's in Newark, Nj and the people were going crazy for Taylor. I just finished the gigs in CA, same thing there, and Taylor is having the time of his life. I have never seen Taylor move that much now he is happy...

I guess your right, PinkXSpiderXx, that is why Taylor is playing these gigs with them. They as in Jagger & Richards are paying the man back what they owed him, but a good thing happened now they are all having a great time and rekindled there friendship with one another. The show's I been at are awesome when Taylor get's up there the crowd goes wild at all six shows he keep's on getting better and better. Do you understand now or still confused???????

The Book was mainly written about Jagger, it really hurt the band almost split up over it. Keith was pissed that Mick was going on solo gig's and until this day it is a touchy situation with Jagger. As far as Keith talks about Taylor he states he was the best guitarist he ever played with, and both Jagger and Richards said they never wanted Taylor to leave. But that was Taylors move he just could not handle his life at that point anymore.

They are paying Mick back with the tour gig's and everyone is getting along really well now...

I just looked on your wall or channel and I think you should keep your mouth shut. You know nothing about music in general, if you ever talk to my wife like that again you better go and hide. Joe Lynn Turner

Mick Taylor was and still is the best player the Stones ever had. And Keith will tell you that himself. I been doing the 50th gig's since they came into the States, and it seem's like the crowd is going wild with Taylor playing at all six shows I been to, as for me not knowing shit about the Stones that is your problem. As for Keith I love him but he is starting to slow down due to bad health issues, and it sad to see. By the way didn't your mama ever teach you the word RESPECT ....

Fuck you do you even know anything about the stones. Keith was was never jealous they both play different styles keith richards is known not for his amazing guitar solos but he is known for his catchy riffs overall keith richards had way more influence then mick taylor ever had.

That could very well be true, but fact is that we don't really know. I just think people shouldn't believe everything they read in magazines, wether it is good or bad. It could also be that Mick Taylor eventually regretted his decision to leave the Stones and needed the money so he told that story to the papers... I'm not saying that's what happend, but it could be one version of the truth.

Really good version, but I'm not sure it's better than Brussels '73 (First Show) or Philadelphia '72.

But his claims in interviews many times over the years that they did "rip him off" is what started those stories though. If he changed his story in a recent interview it was likely because he was about to go back on tour with them.

I am reading Keiths book "Life" just now and actually just finished the part were he tells of writing "Gimme Shelter" during a thunder storm at an associates house after finding out Jagger has been screwing his then girlfriend Anita Pallenberg. No mention of Mick Taylor yet but will be interesting to see how he recalls those times. Great read so far

The Stones golden years were with Mick Taylor ! Ron " sloppy " Woods couldn't string Taylor's guitar ! Taylor joined one of the hottest rock acts at the age of 20 years old and some of the Stones criticized him for not moving around the stage well put yourself in a 20 years old shoes , intimidated , nervous ? His licks , his solo's , he was the best musician the Stones ever had. If you really know about music you would agree if you don't jeep listening to Justin Beaver !

Obviously you like the B. Jones, "Satisfaction", "Mother's Little Helper" Stones; while I like that era I prefer the M. Taylor, "Can't You Hear Me Knockin'", "Tumblin' Dice" version. Taste is subjective. You're right about comparing guitarists as they all have SOMETHING to distinguish themselves. As always, only my opinion.
  22. Carlo Coppa, at 04/19/2013 00:31, says:
The Rolling Stones are the ones with Brian J., Mick Taylor is overrated, in fact released by the Rolling Stones was pulverized!
  23. Chris M, at 04/19/2013 00:43, says:
Are you shitting me? Ronnie Wood is a fucking hack w/o an ounce of originality. As per my previous post, this is the best lineup they ever had. You could pluck someone leaving their guitar lesson and plug him in in place of Wood and no-one would know the diffference (as long as the guitar student looked like a drunk old woman). Of course this is my opinion and counts for nothing...
  24. Carlo Coppa, at 04/14/2013 04:13, says:
Mick Taylor is a great guitarist but has nothing to do with the Stones, the Stones sound is not this, but the one with Brian J. and then Ronnie Wood, where the guitar solo is rhythmic blend, this is the characteristic of the Stones, Taylor has become especially live concerts the Stones as any band! Do not ever compare guitarists as each has its own characteristics, but R. Wood is the most similar to Brian guitar style as well as a musician.
