Carrie Underwood "There's A Place For Us" from the film "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader"

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader hits theaters on December 10th, 2010.

Cast: Ben Barnes, Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes, Will Poulter, Laura Brent, Liam Neeson, Simon Pegg, Colin Moody, Shane Rangi, Steven Rooke, Bruce Spence, Terry Norris, Gary Sweet, Arthur Angel, William Moseley, Anna Popplewell

This time around - Edmund and Lucy Pevensie, along with their pesky cousin Eustace Scrubb - find themselves swallowed into a painting and on to a fantastic Narnian ship headed for the very edges of the world. Joining forces once again with their royal friend Prince Caspian and the warrior mouse Reepicheep, they are whisked away on a mysterious mission to the Lone Islands, and beyond. On this bewitching voyage that will test their hearts and spirits, the trio will face magical Dufflepuds, sinister slave traders, roaring dragons and enchanted merfolk. Only an entirely uncharted journey to Aslan's Country - a voyage of destiny and transformation for each of those aboard the Dawn Treader - can save Narnia, and all the astonishing creatures in it, from an unfathomable fate.

REALLY?!?! i kinda would've like to see the rest of the Narnia movies 'cause, for starters, it's be a shame if they didn't finish it. And I think the director just liked to "alter" the story to maybe attract more viewers since not everybody reads. And I liked the movies, but I'm really hoping I can read the books too :)

People are more inclined to relate to the more real characters and real actors rather than an animated Lion that has small screen time in each film.

This movie failed in a lot of things when it comes to following the book, and such things were quite bad I dare say, it surely would have been better with the old director. But something I cannot deny, the end of the movie transmited the same feelings as the end of the book itself.

Yes indeed, but characters are created to give feelings to the reader, through the characters the reader is able to feel what one would feel in such adventures, and when that happens, the reader becomes attached to characters (such thing also happens in movies), and the pevensies, were a big part of Narnia, the great kings of old, the characters of the first book and more to come. They were special characters, and people are not to be blamed for feeling so attached to them.

The pevensies are not quite gone, if they make the rest of the movies to the Last battle they'll be coming back in 2 more films. Caspian comes back in 2 more also. Although he'd be a old in The Silver Chair.
