    two things. 1: my first cat, Jubilee, actually does that cat-man-do, even at 1 am. 2: my other cat, Farkel, (yes, i know thats a weird name) does some thing similar. when he tries to wake me up, he first meows, then he gets on my bed, goes to my head and taps me on my chin. after about a minute, he put his dirty paw on my chin and then the claws come out.
