Well, the guy is getting older- if he can't do it right it will affect his vocals and singing adversely- and is one of the most injury prone singers I have ever heard of. I can totally understand if he wants to scream less. He shouldn't do it if he knows he can't give it a 100% anymore. Just keep it to a minimum. That said, I have to say the guy is an *amazing* singer. And LP are a great band; I didn't like their last album but I won't say it was a bad effort. Its good to experiment.

They are good live or not live. They just sound different live, that's all. Chester sounds CLEARER not live, but that doesnt mean he isn't good live. He is still a whole lot better than I could ever be.
